Danish Michelin gourmet
Chef Adam Aamann is the man who has put the classic Danish smørrebrød on the world map.
He and his restaurant, Aamanns 1921, have been honored both internationally and nationally, i.a. in Berlingske, Politiken and by the Danish Gastronomic Academy to promote the Danish traditional food culture. At least Aamann has been recommended by the Michelin Guide for a number of years.
Taste Aamann's exquisite menu, which focuses on modern, Danish gourmet and lots of greens. They are awarded with the Danish Organic badge (Økologisk Spisemærke) in silver, which indicate that the ingredients on the menu are 60-90% organic. The food is made from scratch using good chef's craftsmanship with recognizable, quality products in season.

Aamanns is a sure hit, whether you want classic smørrebrød or modern gastro dishes. The food reviewer from Berlingske says: "The best krebinet I've tasted" and gives 5 stars. On TripAdvisor is Aamann's Travellers' Choice 2022. Among other things, the following are reviewed here:

Acclaimed design studio behind admirable settings
Between tall and colorful half-timbered houses, Aamanns' black glass facades extend by the house numbers 19-21.
Inside the setting is bright and inviting. You are warmly welcomed by the staff. You walk across tiled floors and sit in magnificent, aesthetic settings inspired by a modern church space.
Anders Busk Faarborg from the renowned design studio, All That Matters Design, is the man behind the extraordinary design. He has created a magnificent restaurant universe with good carpentry, a light color palette and the clean lines and esthetic of the North which all combined matches and are worthy of the dining experience.
You sit under stone columns, ecclesiastical stone vaults and large custom-made brass chandeliers. The pews are comfortable, have church pillars and padded with light leather.
From the dining area there is a view of the beautiful bar which is filled with meters of jam glasses, bottles of home-infused spirits and other delicacies such as organic wines and beers from Herslev, Mikkeller and ToØl.
