Bornholm in Copenhagen
Restaurant Koefoed is located in the heart of Copenhagen, between St. Kongensgade and Borgergade. The restaurant is located below street level and offers a unique atmosphere in bright, beautiful surroundings with vaulted arches and cozy nooks.
Koefoed's Nordic decor, characterized by raw, whitewashed arches, is inspired by the iconic Bornholm round churches and creates an intimate and authentic atmosphere.
Michelin recommended quality
Since 2009, Restaurant Koefoed has been part of the Michelin guide's recommendations, most recently mentioned in 2024, where the guide praises the restaurant's intimate and charming setting, where everything from ingredients to glasswork pays tribute to Bornholm.
Koefoed presents modern dishes with a Nordic touch and offers an impressive selection of Bordeaux wines that complement the menu perfectly. For lunch, newly interpreted smørrebrød is served, which balances tradition and innovative gastronomy.
Berlingskes food reviewer Søren Frank awards Koefoed with 5 stars and writes "Again we were close to the ultimate serving."
