A sustainable menu by Gemyse chef
Come aboard and enjoy the modern ship menu. Oranje Nyhavn has the pleasure of having Steffen Egebo (former Gemyse chef) in the kitchen. His cuisine is primarily green with fresh fish and seafood from Fiskerikajen. It's a sustainable kitchen with local suppliers from land and sea.
With possibly one of the best locations and outdoor seating with a view - on the water - an informal and comfortable dining experience awaits you in the modernized ship frames.
Above water, Nyhavn's vibrant life can be enjoyed in the sun with a good lunch, a fresh beer from the microbrewery Gamma, To Øl or a cocktail with Oranje's homemade infused syrup.

Historic ship restaurant
Oranje has a lot of entrepreneurs from the food industry behind it. Among them is Mikkel Sarbo. He is behind Hallernes Smørrebrød and Tante-T in Torvehallerne and restaurant Fleisch in Kødbyen (the Meat Packing District).
A talented team has taken the helm and brings quality and the best products the city has to offer to Oranje. The ship set sail from Svendborg to Nyhavn in the 2000s and underwent a thorough modernization in 2022.
