Restaurant in the Italian league
A stone's throw from the busy and vibrant Nørreport flowers the Italian, San Giorgio - an old townhouse full of charm, exposed beams, white tablecloths and a cozy and warm atmosphere.
Since San Giorgio's founding in 1985, the restaurant has received several awards. The restaurant is located i.a. in class with La Buca and the former 1-star Michelin-starred restaurant Era Ora - all three restaurants have gained a reputation from the Italian association of restaurants, Associazione Ciao Italia.

It is not only Berlingske Tidende's food reviewer, Søren Frank, who gives his warmest recommendations and designates San Giorgio as one of the city's leading Italian restaurants.
The Italian food magazine, Gambero Rosso, has named San Giorgio as one of the best Italian restaurants in Copenhagen 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Italian driving force
The restaurant is run by the Italian chef Achille Melis, who keeps the style innovative and simple with respect for the Italian traditions and ingredients. The ingredients are in focus, and San Giorgio itself imports seasonal delicacies from the boot country and supplements only with the best, local producers to supply the season's meat, fish and vegetables.
