Michelin-recommended & European flavors with 4 stars by Bib Gourmand awarded Norrlysts' little brother.
Why you should dine here:
- Michelin recommended 2023
- 4 stars in Berlingske
- Little brother to the Bib Gourmand-winning Norrlyst
- European cuisine with local farm products
In a class of its own
Just like his big brother, restaurant Norrlyst, Theo has swept away international and national food critics in a record of time.
Just over a year after its opening, Norrlyst received the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand. Now Theo follows and is distinguished in the Michelin Guide.
Like the rest of the Norrlyst group's restaurants, Theo also fills the menu with fresh produce from local farms. Among others like Grambogård and Kiselgården. They are sustainable and highlights the European cuisines.
Michelin recommended 'bistronomy'
At Theo, French gastronomy is reborn, inspired by bistronomy; bistro + gastronomy. The cuisine creates favorites from the Parisian bistros with input from the biggest European cuisines such as Barcelona, London and Berlin.
The tasting menus entice with i.a. wonderful signature dishes and contemporary interpretations of the backyard plants. Both fish, vegetables and seasonal protein impressed Berlingske's reviewer, Søren Frank, who acknowledged with 4 stars for the sharp food.
The Michelin Guide refers to >>consistently high food quality<< and >>uncomplicated, appealing dishes<<.
Cozy surroundings
Theo brings friends and family together, provides the cozy date and is a great place to eat for a successful business meeting. The atmosphere is informally warm and vibrant. The strong colors break with the neat, Nordic decor, which is otherwise bright and inviting with organic shapes and natural materials.
However, the restaurant likes to let the company and the good food stand out and be the key players for the evening's successful experience.
